Business Development Representative (Chauffeur - Partner)

Job description

### **About Wheely** Wheely is redefining premium transportation across major cities in Europe, the US, and the Middle East. We blend cutting-edge technology with the craft of five-star chauffeuring to deliver an experience trusted by more than 100,000 active riders and 1,200 corporate accounts. We’re a profitable, fast-growing scale-up with $43M raised and over $100M in annual revenue. Having recently launched in New York City, we’re expanding rapidly across the US and EMEA. If you take pride in your craft and want to help shape the next chapter of our growth, we'd love to hear from you. ### About The Role As a **Business Development Representative (Chauffeur - Partner) in Paris**, you'll own Wheely France's chauffeur acquisition engine end to end — from first contact to first journey. Sitting within the France Operations team, you'll build and run the pipeline that keeps the marketplace supplied with best-in-class chauffeurs, using data to prioritise where and how we recruit. This is an execution-heavy, high-ownership role, not a strategy-only seat: you'll be judged on pipeline volume, conversion, and time-to-first-journey. ### Why This Role - **High-growth business.** Wheely France is scaling fast and expanding into new markets — chauffeur supply is the #1 constraint on that growth, and you'll own the lever that unlocks it. - **Direct impact.** Every chauffeur you convert is a measurable addition to marketplace supply — your funnel numbers move the business. - **Real ownership.** You'll run the acquisition funnel yourself: sourcing, qualification, conversion, and the systems that support them. ### Responsibilities - Own the end-to-end chauffeur acquisition funnel: sourcing, screening, qualifying, and converting leads through calls, emails, and in-person meetings. - Build and manage a high-volume acquisition pipeline, tracking each chauffeur's progress from sign-up to first journey. - Use data to identify where acquisition is underperforming — by channel, city, or funnel stage — and design fixes. - Partner with Quality & Training (Chauffeur Academy) to ensure a smooth handoff from acquisition to onboarding. - Act as a day-to-day representative for Wheely within the chauffeur community, building relationships that support referrals and retention. - Report acquisition funnel performance (volume, conversion, cost, time-to-first-journey) to France Ops leadership. ### Requirements - Experience running high-volume sales pipelines, with the discipline to manage many leads at different funnel stages at once. - Comfortable with data — able to track and report funnel metrics, and act on them (SQL a plus, not required). - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to engage at scale while keeping a personal touch. - A structured operator who turns a high-volume, high-touch process into a repeatable system. - Fluent French and English. - Based in Paris, ability to work in the office 5 days a week. ### What We Offer - Office-based role in Paris (9th arrondissement) - Competitive salary of up to €42,000/year (dependent on role level) - Quarterly KPI-based bonus - Private medical insurance - Life and critical illness cover - Best-in-class equipment - Monthly credit towards Wheely journeys - Daily Lunch Allowance - Navigo and Veligo travel - Professional development stipend All of your personal information will be collected stored and processed in accordance with [Wheely’s Candidate Privacy Notice](https://wheely.com/en/legal/uk/for-candidates/privacy)
