Business Development Representative - Dutch Speaking

Job description

Amsterdam, let’s shake things up. As one of Europe’s fastest-growing SaaS hotspots, Amsterdam is the perfect place to build our newest sales hub. Our office is located at Capital C , right by the Bloemenmarkt in the heart of the city, where bold ideas and blooming business come together with an international mindset and serious growth energy. And that’s exactly what we’re bringing! We’re building a team in Amsterdam with one clear mission: create international opportunities. This isn’t just another BDR role. It’s a front-row seat to scale. Logistics? Maybe not what you dreamed of as a kid. But building a fast-growing international SaaS scale-up that’s transforming how some of the world’s largest industrial companies operate? That’s a different story. Peripass is a tech company at heart. We build software that digitises and automates complex logistics environments for companies like Bridgestone, Alpro and Arcelor Mittal. These companies have hundreds of trucks (un)loading every month, and our SaaS platform helps them orchestrate that whole process. Peripass is a high-impact SaaS product used in international enterprise environments. We’re looking for ambitious professionals ready to learn the sales game at an international level. Hungry? Coachable? Hustler mentality? This is your entrance into Enterprise SaaS Sales. As a Business Development Representative, you’ll open doors at enterprise level across multiple markets, start conversations with C-level decision-makers, and build the pipeline that fuels our growth. This is your ticket to becoming an Account Executive. This is where strong sales careers begin. Grab your chance to start your career in the ✨wondrous✨ SaaS-world! You’ll be challenged. You’ll be coached. And you’ll grow fast. Key responsibilities: You will build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads for the Dutch market. You proactively reach out to prospects through cold calling , email and LinkedIn. Expect volume: you’ll be making a high number of calls every day and turning conversations into opportunities. Let’s be honest: some days will be tough. Prospects won’t pick up. Other days, you’ll book meetings back-to-back. Sales is a rollercoaster🎢, if that excites you, and you have the resilience to push through, you’ll love it here. You research and analyse target accounts to uncover their business challenges and identify how Peripass can bring value. You present high-impact use cases to prospects, showcasing how leading companies already benefit from Peripass. You represent Peripass at fairs and events together with the Sales team. You’ll report directly to our Head of Business Development. What we offer: Kickstart your career in tech sales: as a BDR, you’ll dive into enterprise SaaS sales with a complex, high-value product . You’ll gain hands-on experience working with large organisations, learn the ins and outs of enterprise tech sales, and build the skills to become a top-performing sales professional. Comprehensive training and onboarding: You’re not in this alone. You’ll benefit from a structured onboarding program , mentorship from experienced sales colleagues , and continuous learning opportunities both on the job and through targeted training sessions. A workspace that matches our energy: We’re setting up our new office in the heart of Amsterdam, making sure the location fully reflects our energy, culture and ambition. More on that very, very soon. A cheerful bunch of colleagues who are all making the success story of Peripass, day after day, milestone after milestone, and joke after joke. A solid salary package with an attractive performance-based variable component and great benefits. The better you perform, the higher your reward! Our roots? Ghent. Our ambition? International. While we’re scaling our brand new sales hub in Amsterdam, our headquarters are located in Ghent, Belgium. Not living in Amsterdam, but based in Ghent? Feel free to apply as well! We’re always excited to meet ambitious talent ready to grow with us, whether that’s from our Amsterdam hub or our HQ in Ghent. 🌍 Come on, blow us away with your credentials! 💥 A first experience in business development is a plus . No experience yet? Show us your hunger! You have a master’s degree. If not, but you are confident in your abilities, show us anyway. We’re always happy to be proven wrong! 😎 You have the right mindset : commercially minded, goal-oriented, and never giving up. Languages: You are a native Dutch speaker. As this role focuses on the Dutch market, perfect written and spoken Dutch is essential. A good level of English is required since that’s our internal language. Any other language is a plus! You have excellent communication skills and a natural talent for convincing people. You’re proactive, curious, and eager to learn , always looking for new ways to connect, solve problems, and make an impact. We are ISO27001 certified, so you see the importance of Information Security & Cyber Security and you act accordingly. Within Peripass we see these aspects as fundamental to our business, since our software automates critical parts of our clients' logistics processes. You live in the Netherlands and are open to working in our ✨brand new✨ office in Amsterdam .
