Buyer/Planner (Mid Senior)

Job description

**Purpose Statement:** Responsible for procuring raw materials, components, tooling, supplies and services to ensure a 100% customer service level, while achieving the targeted Quality & Cost objectives. Assist in the implementation of sourcing & commodity strategies for all goods and/or services to achieve improvements in all areas of Quality, Cost and Service. He/She will demonstrate a moderate level of decision-making skills. **Job Responsibilities:** - Perform all raw materials purchasing procedures. - He/she will contact local and international providers for the supply of merchandise. - Maintain good relations with providers of raw materials. - Assess raw materials provider performance periodically. - Evaluate and select the company´s raw material providers. - Maintain the cost-quality relation, pursuing the maximum savings for the company. - Satisfy established raw material inventory levels. - Execute the complete raw material purchase cycle, from definition of the requirement to receiving the merchandise. - Generate continuous improvement projects for processes related to raw material purchases. **Job Requirements:** - Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field. - Minimum 3 years of working experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Logistics, or related functions. - Experience with **SAP** and **Kinaxis RapidResponse** is preferred. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Highly detail-oriented with strong data accuracy focus. - Ability to analyze supply chain data and support operational decision-making. - Effective communication and stakeholder management skills. **Good-to-Have Qualifications** - - Experience leading or participating in continuous improvement projects. - Inventory management experience, including inventory analysis and optimization. - Intermediate proficiency in **Power BI** for reporting and dashboard development. - Experience working in a manufacturing or multinational environment About Us As a global medical technology leader for more than 40 years, our mission at Boston Scientific (NYSE: BSX) is to transform lives through innovative medical solutions that improve the health of patients.
