Cable Technician

Job description

Assist with the installation, adjustment, and change of copper layer-one network connections for technical systems under the supervision of a senior technician. Work from a request / ticket system, taking assigned tasks from queue to completion. Document installation work clearly and contribute to the upkeep of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Support the network team on a regular basis (rack / de-rack network devices, assist during hardware replacements, participate in hotfix activity and change points). Support 24x7 data center and fab operation per on-call scheduling. Follow all on-site security protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, and company policies. Work effectively in a team environment.
