**Job Title:** Clinical Psychologist – Autism & Neurodevelopmental Services **Banding:** Equivalent to Band 8a **Location:** Keele, Staffordshire **Working Hours:** Full-time, flexible working available **Salary:** Competitive, dependent on experience Are you a skilled and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of neurodivergent children and their families? Pulse is recruiting for a permanent Clinical Psychologist to join a dedicated and growing Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) based in Keele, Staffordshire. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of specialist autism services, working in a collaborative and forward-thinking clinical environment. ### Responsibilities As a Practitioner Psychologist,you will: - Deliver specialist autism and neurodevelopmental assessments, formulations, and interventions for children and young people. - Work collaboratively within a diverse MDT including Psychologists, LD Nurses, OTs, SALTs, Paediatricians, Assistants, Trainees, and volunteers. - Prepare comprehensive psychological reports and communicate findings to families and professionals. - Provide evidence-based individual and group interventions for children, families, and carers. - Offer specialist consultation, advice, and training to colleagues and external professionals. - Contribute to service development, evaluation, and audit in collaboration with the research team. - Provide clinical supervision and support to Assistant and Trainee Psychologists. ### Benefits - Flexible working patterns, including home working - Purpose-built, award-winning facilities - Extensive CPD, reflective practice, and training opportunities - Clinical and management supervision - 27 days annual leave + bank holidays (increasing with service) - Employee Assistance Programme - Charity worker and Blue Light discounts - Life assurance after 1 year - Pension scheme - Recommend-a-friend scheme - Free on-site parking - No out-of-hours, rota, or weekend expectations ### Qualifications and Experience We welcome applications from candidates who meet the following criteria: - Doctorate (or equivalent) in Clinical Psychology - HCPC registration - Experience in autism and neurodevelopmental assessment and diagnosis - Skilled in psychometric testing, cognitive/neuropsychological assessments, and clinical formulation - Experience working with children, young people, and families - Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-working skills - Commitment to inclusive and person-centred practice - Enhanced DBS with barred lists required If you don’t meet every requirement but feel passionate about this role, we still encourage you to apply – we value potential and dedication. ### How to Apply Click “Apply” via the **Pulse website** to submit your CV.
