All the benefits and perks you need for you and your family: Benefits from Day One: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance Paid Time Off from Day One 403-B Retirement Plan 4 Weeks 100% Paid Parental Leave Career Development Whole Person Well-being Resources Mental Health Resources and Support Pet Benefits Schedule: Full time Shift: Day (United States of America) Address: 1219 S Pine Ave City: Ocala State: Florida Postal Code: 34471 Job Description: Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, histories, and physical examinations Manage preoperative and postoperative cardiothoracic surgery patients Perform daily inpatient rounds and coordinate multidisciplinary care plans Assist in the operating room as a first assist during cardiothoracic surgical procedures Provide postoperative care, including chest tube management, wound evaluations, and patient education Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic tests and imaging results Develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians Participate in outpatient clinic visits, consultations, and follow-up appointments Document patient care accurately and timely within the electronic medical record Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, rehabilitation services, and ancillary staff to ensure seamless patient care Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory standards Qualifications Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program or Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program Current Florida APRN or PA licensure in the state of Florida Current BLS and ACLS certification Cardiothoracic Surgery experience Benefits Competitive compensation package Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits eligible on day 1 Retirement program with employer contributions Paid malpractice coverage CME allowance and paid CME days Paid time off Pay Range: $91,313.86 - $169,845.73 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law) Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening , including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
