Job description
Job Title: Care Professional – Morning Calls Location: Swadlincote/Burton/Derby Hours: Preferred availability 6:45 AM – 2:00 PM (can be extended if more hours are desired) Pay Rate: £13.35 per hour Enhanced Pay: £14.25 per hour (before 8:00 AM, after 6:00 PM, and weekends) What You’ll Do: Help with personal care routines such as washing, dressing, and toileting Support with mobility and safe movement Prepare breakfast and help with morning medication Offer companionship and reassurance to start the day right Light household tasks to ensure a safe, clean environment Shift Information: Preferred availability: 6:45 AM – 2:00 PM More hours can be offered if desired Please note: You are paid for the time spent delivering care , not for your entire availability window Pay & Benefits: £13.35 per hour standard £14.25 per hour before 8 AM, after 6 PM, and weekends Travel time and mileage paid Paid, award-winning training and ongoing development Supportive, family-feel office team Regular clients with minimum 1-hour visits — no rushed care PPE provided What You’ll Need: A warm, caring, and reliable nature Excellent communication skills and a desire to help others The right to work in the UK A full UK driving licence and access to a car is essential due to the community-based nature of the role If you're ready to be part of something truly special, supporting clients to live well at home for longer, apply today and join the Home Instead family .
