We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible. We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and energetic Caregiver to provide one-on-one support for an individual in West Bend, Wisconsin. This role is ideal for someone who prioritizes safety, enjoys staying active outdoors, and is committed to making a positive difference in someone's daily life. The individual enjoys spending time outside and staying active. They live on a family apple orchard property and love visiting parks, hiking trails, and other outdoor locations. The ideal caregiver will be comfortable keeping pace with an active individual and encouraging meaningful community engagement. Pay Rate : $16.32 per hour Schedule : Monday-Friday, 5-6 hours per day Responsibilities • Provide supervision and support during community outings and outdoor activities. • Assist with transportation and participation in activities such as walks, parks, and hiking trails. • Support personal care needs, including toileting assistance. • Provide reminders and guidance for proper hygiene, including handwashing and cleanup after toileting. • Encourage independence while providing appropriate support and redirection when needed. • Maintain a safe environment at all times. • Build a positive, respectful relationship while supporting daily routines and activities. Qualifications • Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required. • Strong commitment to safety and quality care. • Patient, dependable, and compassionate personality. • Comfortable working with individuals who may be resistant to directions or frequently respond with "no" as part of their communication style. • Able to remain calm and not take challenging words or behaviors personally. • Enjoys being active and spending time outdoors. • Ability to walk for extended periods and keep up with an energetic individual. • Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
