Apply Now: Universal Logistics is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Yard Switcher to join our team in Madison Heights, MI . This position is responsible for moving trailers safely and efficiently throughout the yard while supporting daily operations. Position Details 1st Shift Monday–Friday (occasional Saturdays depending on customer needs) 5:30 AM – 4:30 PM Starting Pay: $26.00/hour Consistent weekday schedule Responsibilities Move and position trailers within the yard Coordinate trailer movements to meet operational needs Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections as required Follow all company safety policies and procedures Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and management Maintain a safe and organized work environment Requirements Class A CDL required 6 months of tractor-trailer experience Current DOT Medical Card (minimum 1-year validity) Clean driving record No DUI/OWI in the last 5 years No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years No more than 3 preventable accidents in the last 3 years Must pass DOT drug screen Apply Today: Questions?
