Chief of Staff / Founder’s Associate (m/f/d)

Job description

At TheFamilyGroup, we create brands that make children shine – from their first steps to their greatest adventures. We’re building a new generation of consumer brands for families, combining exceptional products with outstanding brand experiences. Our portfolio includes brands such as flybaby, wyms and several new ventures currently in development. As our Chief of Staff / Founder’s Associate, you’ll work directly with the founders on the company’s most important strategic and operational initiatives. Depending on current priorities, you’ll either work across the entire group or become deeply embedded within one of our portfolio brands. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to every aspect of building and scaling a modern consumer business—from strategy and finance to product development, operations and marketing. Tasks Every week is different. One day you might optimize warehouse operations, the next you’ll coordinate a product launch, improve our customer experience, implement AI tools or work with suppliers to solve production challenges. You’ll become an extension of the founders and help move the business forward wherever it’s needed most. Work directly with the founders on day-to-day business challenges. Take ownership of operational projects from idea to execution. Improve processes across operations, logistics, customer experience and product. Coordinate product launches and cross-functional initiatives. Work with suppliers, manufacturers and external partners. Build dashboards and analyze business performance to support decision-making. Implement AI tools and automation across the organization. Identify bottlenecks and solve them proactively. Support hiring, onboarding and internal projects as the company grows. Jump into whatever is most important that week. Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or close to graduating). Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong bias toward execution. You enjoy figuring things out instead of waiting for instructions. Comfortable taking ownership in a fast-moving environment. Excellent communication skills in German and English. Experience with Excel, Notion and AI tools such as Claude is a plus. Previous experience in startups, consulting, operations or consumer brands is a plus—but attitude matters more than your CV. Benefits Work side by side with experienced founders. Real ownership from your first week. A steep learning curve across every area of the business. The opportunity to help build brands that thousands of families use every day. Modern office in Berlin / Cologne. Flexible working environment. Competitive compensation. Clear opportunities to grow into a leadership role as the company scales. We’re looking for someone who loves building. Someone who enjoys solving problems, making things happen and taking ownership. If you want to work closely with founders, have real impact from day one and help build the next generation of family brands, we’d love to hear from you.
