(TBE)** is a full-service, professional aviation engineering firm focused on the planning, design, and construction for airports in **North Carolina, South Carolina**, **Virginia and Florida**. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina for over 30 years, TBE employs more than 95 professionals. **TBE** is seeking a **Civil Engineering Designer (Aviation)** to manage existing projects and lead and perform civil engineering design for specific airport-related projects for the **Charlotte, NC** office. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise in the design of airside and landside aviation projects, including airfield and roadway geometrics, paving, grading, drainage and/or utilities design. The position will be responsible for performing engineering duties including planning, design, and scheduling of engineering work; performing more advanced design, organizing, and developing design plans; and developing technical specifications and bid estimates. Work is typically done in teams, with extensive coordination both internally and externally.
