(TBE)** is a full-service, professional aviation engineering firm focused on the planning, design, and construction for airports in **North Carolina, South Carolina**, **Virginia and Florida.** Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina for over 30 years, TBE employs more than 95 professionals. **TBE** is seeking a **Civil Engineering Designer (Aviation)** to manage existing projects and lead and perform civil engineering design for specific airport-related projects for the **Wilmington, NC and Richmond, VA** offices, with positions available in both offices. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise in the design of airside and landside aviation projects, including airfield and roadway geometrics, paving, grading, drainage and/or utilities design. The position will be responsible for performing engineering duties including planning, design, and scheduling of engineering work; performing more advanced design, organizing, and developing design plans; and developing technical specifications and bid estimates. Work is typically done in teams, with extensive coordination both internally and externally. **Must be able to work on-site in our Wilmington office five days per week.**
