If you’re eager to apply your classroom knowledge in a practical setting, and do it alongside people who value relationships as much as results, this internship is for you. ### What You'll Do: - Assist in the preparation of site-development plans for residential, commercial, and industrial projects - Support the design of water, sewer, and storm-drainage layouts and construction drawings - Assist with permit packages and coordination with regulatory agencies - Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and design teams on daily project tasks - Support modeling and drafting efforts using AutoCAD Civil 3D - Assist with project documentation and organization to support scope, schedule, and quality goals ### What You Bring: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field - Interest in land development and site design projects - Basic knowledge of AutoCAD; exposure to Civil 3D preferred - Clear written and verbal communication skills - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment - Willingness to learn and contribute in a team-oriented setting ### Why Thomas & Hutton? - Competitive hourly pay - Condensed work schedule for better work-life balance - Hands-on experience with real-world engineering projects - Mentorship from experienced engineers and designers - Exposure to industry-leading tools, technology, and software - Opportunity to build skills and prepare for a full-time engineering career **Schedule:** On-site: Monday–Thursday 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; Friday 7:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m. (Schedule may be flexible based on academic commitments.)
