We are seeking a full-time **Civil Engineer** to join our **Transportation Design** team in our newly relocated **Des Moines, IA** office, located in the heart of downtown. You will support transportation infrastructure projects, receive one-on-one mentorship, and contribute to innovative design solutions that make a difference!
### Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support for roadway/transportation related projects
- Assist in the planning, design, and construction administration of projects
- Complete feasibility studies and technical design reports
- Coordinate roadway design project plans with associated utilities
- Demonstrate eagerness to learn new areas of engineering
### Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field (We are considering December 2026 or Spring 2027 grads)
- Familiarity with or previous experience using MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer and/or AutoCAD/Civil3D software for design and drafting tasks
### Preferred Qualifications:
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
- Completion of an engineering internship or other professional employment providing experience in surveying, transportation design, MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer, and/or construction observation
