You’ll have a promising future at Dempsey and be proud to say you work here. ### Job Summary The CDL Class A Shuttle Driver delivers our merchandise to our service centers in the Mid-Atlantic region. The CDL Class A Shuttle Driver must consistently demonstrate a commitment to safe driving practices and uphold all Company policies and DOT standards. ### Job Responsibilities - Ensures safe and on-time delivery of our merchandise to our service centers using company vehicles. - Demonstrates a commitment to safe driving practices and upholds all company and DOT standards. - Maintains cleanliness of vehicles and ensures proper working condition and/or notifies the supervisor of any needed maintenance or repairs. - Completes any reports or logs. ### Education Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred ### Experience Qualifications Minimum 1 year of CDL Class A experience ### Skills and Abilities - Must meet all applicable **DOT requirements**, including a review of the Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), pre-employment physical examination, and drug screening. - Demonstrated record of **safe driving** in a similar position. - Proven track record of **reliable and consistent work performance**. - Ability to **work independently** and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision. ### Licenses and Certifications - **CDL – Group A Commercial Driver’s License:** Required upon hire. - Must be at least 22 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license with a demonstrated record of safe driving, as verified through the Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). - A valid **Group A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)** is required upon hire.
