Class A Driver - 1st Shift 5AM to 3PM

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver with a **Class A license** and experience driving large trucks to utilize your experience across the Houston, TX Plant. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily. **4660 World Houston Pkwy Suite #150,** **Houston, TX 77032** Check this out on our YouTube! ### What will your job involve? - Operating **straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft** in a safe manner - Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations - Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships - Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes - Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs - Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections - Consistently **lifting up to 50lbs!!** - ***Pushing/pulling*** *a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as **200lbs!!*** ### What are we looking for? - **Class A license** with a clean driving record and **VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD** - **Minimum 3 years** experience operating **straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft** - Passing our **7 Year FADV review** in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse - Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations - Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections - Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus - Proven longevity in past employment - **TOUCH FREIGHT EXPERIENCE!!!** Preferred background: - \*\*Soiled Linens - \*\*Ice/Liquor/Pallets of Food Product - \*\*Municipal Waste - \*\*Medical/Office Equipment ### Why work for us? - **Job stability** – as an essential service to healthcare we are a non-seasonal and stable business - **Opportunities for overtime** - **Consistent work hours** – Monday- Friday position, 1st Shift **(5AM to 3PM)** - **Benefits** – Full time roles are provided benefits, sick leave and vacation leave from day one! - **Permanent position –** This is a Full-time permanent role of 45 hours per week - **Competitive salary –** This position is offering **a set rate (non-Negotiable) of $26.00 per hour!**
