Client Engagement Lead - Data Platforms

Job description

We are looking for a Client Engagement Lead to join the leadership team of Data Platform Solutions , our data platform delivery business unit. In this key strategic role, you will work closely with the Head of Data Platform Solutions and our Sales team to shape high-impact data solutions for international clients and drive the acquisition of new projects. Acting as a trusted technical and commercial advisor, you will represent delivery from the very first conversation: understanding complex business challenges, co-creating solutions alongside our technical experts, and articulating their clear business value. To succeed, you will combine a strong delivery background with sharp commercial instinct and executive credibility. In this role, you will: ● Lead the business unit’s international presales activities in close partnership with Sales, assessing opportunities and driving them from early client discussions through to project agreement. ● Build relationships with prospective and existing clients, explore their business challenges, and help define the outcomes they want to achieve. ● Work with architects and delivery experts to shape solutions, define project scope, estimate effort and costs, and assess delivery risks. ● Own the proposal process from preparation to presentation, clearly communicate the business value of our approach, and represent delivery in client discussions and negotiations. ● Ensure a clear handover from presales to delivery, with shared expectations on scope, commitments, and success criteria. Where needed, act as a project sponsor or occasionally lead a project. ● Take an active role in the leadership and development of the business unit, working with other competence areas, Sales, Marketing, and Finance, and supporting our collaborative, people-centered culture. Your primary focus will be on international, English-speaking clients, with occasional involvement in the Hungarian market. The role includes occasional travel, typically 2–4 trips per year. Join us if: ● You have a strong track record in delivering data or technology consulting projects and understand what it takes to turn a proposal into a successful engagement. ● You have experience in presales, including exploring client needs, shaping solutions, and preparing and presenting proposals that help win business. ● You think commercially: you can identify the business need behind a technical request and balance client value, delivery feasibility, and profitability. ● You understand modern data platforms and can discuss solution options and trade-offs with clients and technical colleagues. ● You bring leadership experience and communicate confidently in both English and Hungarian, including when presenting to senior client stakeholders. ● You value strong interpersonal relationships and enjoy working in an empathetic, collaborative environment. Why us? Diverse projects: In each assignment there is always something new either on the technical or on the business side that helps you grow. Cutting edge technology: We work with many of the most up-to-date technologies and tools. Strong and motivating team: We stress the importance of working together in tight-knit, cohesive teams in which members help each other to reach the common goal. Work-life balance: We help you to feel good individually as well, and coordinate work so as it should align with your leisure activities. Professional development: There are team gatherings on a regular schedule where colleagues can share their knowledge, and have deep technical discussions. Focus on company culture: In addition to our business and professional achievements we are proud of the social bonding in the company, which is based on mutual respect and helping one another.
