Clinical Manager Children’s Behavioral Health Home (CBHH)/Wraparound The Clinical Manager will work alongside the Director in managing three programs: 1. Children’s Behavioral Health Home 2. High Fidelity Wraparound Health Home 3. Wraparound/ Department of Corrections teams. What makes the Youth Services Clinical Manager role unique? In Youth Services, we have an exciting and developing team that includes experienced case managers, a nurse care Supervisor, family support partners, youth peer support, medical and psychiatric consultants, and a dedicated clinician on the team. The Clinical Manager will provide directions to all team members in supporting complex mental health needs of children and youth. The team is supportive and collaborative and believes in the strength of group sharing and problem solving. We can offer flexibility in schedules, so long as clients’ needs are always prioritized, and have an eye on work/life balance to ensure our team is arriving to work energized and engaged. It involves supervision of the Care Coordinators and Case Managers, including clinical oversight of the service delivery to clients enrolled in the program. The Clinical Supervisor works with the Program Director in managing all facets of the program. The Clinical Supervisor fosters good communication and optimal relationships with vital partners, including the entities governing and auditing the program’s integrity and the quality of its outcomes. What is it like day-to-day? Time is spent in several ways: facilitating individual and group supervision, working on implementation projects for the department, completing client intakes with youth and families, supporting staff directly in the field as part of supervision and support, and engaging in community building, networking opportunities. The Clinical Manager is a supervisory role. Work is performed, reviewed, and evaluated under the supervision of the Director of Youth Services. Schedule : Full-time, 40 hours per week, salaried position. Monday – Friday; some evening hours may be required. No on-call, night, or weekend expectation. Location : Office is located in South Portland. Work will primarily be performed in the community, serving Cumberland, York and Androscoggin counties. Some in office and some remote work. Ability to do some paperwork from home/remotely. Qualifications : Master’s Level Education, along with LCSW, LMSW-CC, or LCPC, LCPC-c required At least 2 years of case management experience preferred. 1-3 years related supervisory experience and program management experience preferred. Experience in developing successful relationships with vital work partners. Experience with integrated healthcare for children is preferred but not required. Experience in electronic data collection and reporting very helpful. Comfort and experience with ECR is critical. Will require daily review of electronically stored clinical documentation. Appropriate licensing/credentialing to meet all MaineCare BHHO Regulations. Strong and diverse clinical knowledge, including fluency in recovery-oriented service, trauma-informed care, Motivational Interviewing, treatment of co-occurring disorders, and the principles of harm reduction. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office is a requirement. Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background, child protective service check & sex offender check Must not be on the state or federal suspension and disbarment list Normal office conditions such as sitting, with occasional standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, typing and lifting up to 10 pounds. Driving may be necessary to attend meetings and trainings and for the occasional need to meet with clients offsite and within the program service area. This may include transportation of clients or driving to agency location to complete work. A good driving record is required .
