Assist with ambulation and mobility as appropriate to the patient's condition and care plan. Observe and report changes in patient condition, behavior, or comfort level to licensed nursing staff promptly. Maintain patient dignity, privacy, and respect at all times. Ensure patient rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Change bed linens and assist with maintaining a comfortable, safe environment. Clean and disinfect equipment according to established procedures. Assist with preparing rooms for admissions, transfers, and discharges. Welcome and assist family members and visitors in a compassionate and professional manner. Provide comfort items and basic support to patients and families as directed by the care team. Assist families in locating resources and communicating concerns to nursing staff. Maintain a calm and supportive environment for patients and loved ones.Work closely with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and other interdisciplinary team members.
