Job Description Summary: Help shape the next generation of healthcare professionals! MaineGeneral Health is adding a second CNA Instructor to our MaineGeneral Rehab & Long-Term Care team. We’re looking for an experienced RN who is passionate about teaching, mentoring, and sharing their clinical knowledge with students beginning their healthcare careers. This is a per diem opportunity for an RN who wants to make a meaningful impact beyond the bedside. Job Description: What You'll Do: Works collaboratively with academic and administrative leadership to assess the needs and objectives of students and the organization and to develop appropriate solutions. Develops teaching outlines and selects or develops teaching aids/activities as appropriate. Applies knowledge of learning principles to teach various formats of learning content. Monitors students' progress throughout assigned courses and provides support and resources as appropriate. Ensures safe practices in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings. Supervises students, tracking attendance, completion of skills lists, and academic success per state requirements. What You Bring: Current State of Maine Registered Nurse License, or the ability to obtain one promptly Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a Long-Term Care facility Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills A passion for teaching, mentoring, and helping others succeed The ability to create a positive, engaging learning environment for students Why MaineGeneral? Compensation Information: $36.51 - $63.90 The hourly pay range shown represents the base pay range for this position. Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations. In addition to base pay, eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and other applicable differentials.
