Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented CNC Lathe Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring CNC lathe machines to manufacture high-quality metal and plastic components while ensuring safety, quality, and production standards are met. Responsibilities Load and unload CNC lathe machines. Monitor machine performance and tool life. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments. Adjust tool offsets to ensure parts meet blueprint specifications. Document inspection results and production data accurately. Meet or exceed production goals and established cycle times. Operate multiple machines when required. Log job information, production quantities, and downtime accurately. Perform basic machine maintenance and housekeeping tasks. Report quality, equipment, or production concerns promptly to management. Communicate job status and critical information between shifts. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Required Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Previous experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Experience using precision measuring equipment, including: Micrometers Calipers Indicators Other inspection tools Basic math and computer skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to meet production requirements in a fast-paced environment.
