Third Space Therapy combines the independence of private practice with the support of a group setting, focused on expanding Medicaid-covered behavioral healthcare. We're looking for board-certified Psychiatrists to serve as Collaborating Physicians for our Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners. This is a flexible engagement centered on collaboration, chart review, and clinical consultation within a fully remote care model serving Medicaid populations. You conduct collaboration and chart review according to your own clinical judgment and the requirements of your license. - Collaborative model. Work alongside PMHNPs and therapists in an integrated behavioral health practice. - Paid per PMHNP. You're paid a monthly rate for each PMHNP you collaborate with, at a competitive rate. - Meaningful work. Expand access to high-quality psychiatric care for Medicaid members. What you'll do - Provide the physician collaboration required under Ohio law for the PMHNPs you work with - Conduct chart reviews as set out in the collaborative practice agreement, covering clinical quality, prescribing, and documentation - Meet with PMHNPs to discuss complex cases, diagnostic questions, and treatment planning - Provide real-time and asynchronous consultation on challenging or escalating patient presentations What you'll need - An active, unrestricted MD or DO license in good standing in Ohio - Board certification in Psychiatry (ABPN or equivalent) - Your own malpractice coverage ($1M per occurrence / $3M aggregate) - Working knowledge of collaborative practice requirements for PMHNPs - Experience treating diverse psychiatric conditions across the lifespan - Comfort with telehealth, EHR-based chart review, and remote communication tools - A quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office, plus your own computer and reliable internet We're looking for physicians who bring - Experience collaborating with or supervising PMHNPs - Strong clinical judgment across a range of psychiatric presentations and populations - The ability to thoughtfully balance regulatory requirements with meaningful clinical partnership - A genuine commitment to expanding access to psychiatric care for Medicaid members
