Technicians are expected to supply their own standard hand tools Work across commercial HVAC and commercial refrigeration systems Variety of HVAC/R service, repair, maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting work Why You’ll Love It Here Put your commercial HVAC and refrigeration experience to work on equipment that demands strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Take ownership of your work and put your technical expertise to use in the field Work across both HVAC and commercial refrigeration systems Serve customers throughout the Cincinnati area Join a company where quality workmanship, reliability, and technical ability matter Build your experience through hands-on HVAC/R service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work Your New Role Independently diagnose, service, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment Service and repair walk-in coolers, reach-in coolers, and related commercial refrigeration systems Diagnose refrigeration and HVAC equipment issues using refrigerant pressures, temperature readings, and other diagnostic measurements Handle both commercial HVAC and refrigeration service calls, including situations requiring troubleshooting across multiple equipment types Troubleshoot heating, air conditioning, electrical, controls, and refrigeration-related issues Perform preventive maintenance and identify equipment failures to determine appropriate repair solutions Complete HVAC and refrigeration repairs accurately and efficiently Take ownership of assigned HVAC/R service calls from diagnosis through completion Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment issues and repair needs Follow established safety procedures and industry best practices Maintain organized tools, equipment, and work areas Deliver dependable, professional service on every job Hiring Expectations: Apply today, complete a quick phone screening, and get ready for an interview with our team to discuss your goals and experience. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on commercial HVAC/R experience; 5+ years preferred Required experience diagnosing, servicing, and repairing commercial refrigeration equipment, particularly walk-in and reach-in coolers Strong working knowledge of both commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems Ability to independently diagnose equipment failures using refrigerant pressures, temperature readings, and other diagnostic measurements EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required Ice machine service and repair experience preferred but not required; training can be provided High school diploma or equivalent Mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Willingness to participate in rotating on-call coverage, occasional weekend work, and seasonal overtime Must have and be able to safely use standard HVAC/R service hand tools Professional communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned service calls Dependable approach to safety and quality workmanship Cincy Heating & Cooling is an Equal Opportunity Employer .
