SARISA Sub-concession Port of Philippos II S.A., a member of GEK TERNA Group, is currently looking for:Commercial ManagerResponsibilitiesAccountable for the commercial development, operational coordination, and business growth of a small Greek port with activities spanning cargo handling, maritime logistics, supply chain services, storage, and intermodal transportation.Develops and implements the port’s commercial strategy to increase cargo volumes, vessel calls, and logistics activities.Identifies and pursues new business opportunities in freight forwarding, maritime transport, warehousing, intermodal logistics, and specialized cargo sectors.Builds and maintains strong relationships with shipping companies, logistics providers, freight forwarders, industrial clients, public authorities and other key stakeholders.Negotiates commercial agreements, tariffs, concessions, and service contracts while ensuring alignment with operational capabilities.Coordinates with port operations and external partners to support efficient vessel turnaround, cargo handling, storage, and supply chain flows.Monitors market trends, competitor activity, and logistics developments to support business growth and service improvement.Analyzes logistics networks and cargo flows to improve efficiency and competitiveness.Develops integrated logistics solutions for clients, including multimodal transport and last-mile connectivity.Ensures compliance with applicable maritime, environmental, health & safety, and operational regulations.Represents the port in industry forums and commercial meetings.Prepares commercial forecasts, budgets, and business cases to support performance monitoring and investment decisions.Monitor KPIs related to cargo throughput, revenue generation, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management, Maritime Studies, Engineering, Economics or related field
- Master’s degree will be considered an asset
- Minimum 10 years of experience in port operations, logistics, maritime transport, supply chain management, commercial development
- Experience with industrial, energy, military mobility, or strategic infrastructure logistics projects
- Strong understanding of port economics, cargo handling operations, shipping and freight markets, and intermodal transport
- Familiarity with concession models, PPPs, or infrastructure projects
- Experience in commercial negotiations and contract management
- Knowledge of port digital systems, ERP/WMS/TOS platforms, and logistics analytics tools
- Fluency in Greek and English
