Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Commis to join our culinary team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Commis, you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations and contributing to the creation of exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Assist in the preparation and cooking of various food items according to recipes and quality standards Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations Participate in food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients Assist in the proper storage and labeling of food items Support senior chefs in plating and presenting dishes Contribute to kitchen inventory management and stock rotation Participate in cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and facilities Adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Continuously learn and develop culinary skills under the guidance of experienced chefs At least 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen setting Fluency in English, with strong communication skills Basic culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP knowledge is a plus) Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Strong teamwork and collaboration skills Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays Attention to detail and commitment to quality in food preparation and presentation Willingness to learn and grow in the culinary field Culinary education or relevant certifications are preferred but not required Competitive salary package Professional and supportive work environment Opportunities for growth within a reputed brand.
