Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide personal care to clients in accordance with their individualized care plans.Offer companionship and assistance with light housekeeping duties—doing whatever it takes to help clients remain safely and comfortably at home.Prepare meals according to the preferences and requests of the client and/or their family, including a variety of cuisines.Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice of a Personal Support Worker.Support clients with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, linen changes, and other related care needs.Assist clients with transfers, ambulation, range of motion exercises, and mobility support.Ensure client safety at all times and use equipment safely and appropriately.Practice safely and competently within the limits of your training, experience, and job responsibilities.Complete all required documentation and records accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner.RequirementsAn asset to have a valid driver's license and reliable access to a car that can be used for daily work; if no vehicle, must be able to travel within the Toronto/GTA area. - COVID Vaccination Receipts subject to an exemption pursuant to Ontario’s Human Rights Code
- Immunization for measles, rubella, varicella, tetanus, and Diphtheria REQUIRED, immunization of Hepatitis B is strongly urged.
