### **Band 6 Occupational Therapist – Community Stroke Service** **Location:** Hull & East Riding **Contract:** Temporary Our client is seeking an experienced **Band 6 Occupational Therapist** to join their **Community Stroke Service** covering Hull and East Riding. This role involves providing specialist occupational therapy interventions to patients recovering from stroke in the community, supporting rehabilitation and promoting independence. #### **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions for stroke patients in a community setting. - Complete functional assessments and develop individualized rehabilitation plans. - Support discharge planning and liaise with the multidisciplinary team. - Promote independence and optimize patient outcomes through evidence-based practice. #### **Requirements:** - Degree and Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy. - HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist. - **Community-based stroke experience** (3 years preferable but not essential). - Knowledge of **SystmOne** (desirable but not essential). - **Car driver with own vehicle and business insurance** (essential for covering Hull and East Riding). - Strong communication and teamwork skills. #### **Why Join Our Client?** - Opportunity to make a significant impact on patient recovery and quality of life. - Supportive and collaborative team environment. - Competitive rates and flexible working arrangements.
