Minimum of three (3) years of recent wound care experience, including the assessment and management of complex wounds in community, hospital, long-term care, or clinic settings. Experience managing pressure injuries, diabetic foot ulcers, venous ulcers, arterial ulcers, surgical wounds, skin tears, and other chronic or complex wounds. Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A valid Ontario G Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle is considered an asset. Current CPR and First Aid certification from a recognized provider (completed within the past 12 months). Valid WHMIS 2015 certification (issued or renewed within the past 12 months). Negative TB test (2-step or 1-step with prior documentation) completed within the past 12 months. Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination, or exemption in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code. Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening issued within the past 12 months.
