St. Publius is an international tax consultancy company with 35 employess in 7 countries. For our office in Valletta (Malta) we`re searching for a compliance specialist. Tasks Collecting and maintaining client due diligence documentation in line with the client on-boarding procedures Carrying out Client Risk Assessments at on-boarding stage and on an on-going basis. Updating of records, including the upkeep of physical files and electronic systems Preparation and submission of statutory filings as well as performing other statutory obligations. Assist during the process of the incorporating companies. Perform other compliance tasks as may be necessary. Assisting with general administration work according to the company needs. Requirements Knowledge in Due diligence and compliance functions and practices Excellent communication skills, especially in English, both verbal and written. Fluency in the German language will be considered an asset. Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to work with limited supervision and comfort in making decisions independently but also being able to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
