Summary of Position You are up to date with the latest technology involving concrete work, possess the knowledge and skill of a specialist in the field, and maintain a high standard of work. Your ability to meet job specifications and make top class finishes in concrete work will ensure your success. Position Requirements: Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license, reliable transportation, and clean driver's abstract 5+ years concrete construction experience in building sidewalks, ramps, aprons, grade beams, pile caps, pads, walls, and slabs Valid CSTS-2020 with WHIMIS First aid and other training certificates are considered an asset Position Responsibilities: Construct forms, tying reinforcement, and placement of concrete Expert use of finishing tools Knowledge to use equipment at the proper time of the place-finishing sequence Spreading and smoothing concrete Cutting in expansion joints and troweling edges Applying waterproofing and sealant to protect the concrete work Monitoring the material to ensure it hardens to a durable finish What we Offer Opportunity for career advancement and training Industry-leading benefits program Rewards and recognition for exemplary individual performance
