VAT in 2024 and employs 5,000 staff members across 10 countries. **We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team in Milan!** As part of the global **Veepee** group, our Italian finance team is young, dynamic, and informal. You’ll be joining a close-knit team of three people in Milan, reporting directly to our General Accounting Manager in Italy. In this role, you’ll take full ownership of the day-to-day general accounting operations for Veepee’s two Italian entities, combining the agility of a local team with the energy of an international e-commerce leader. ### 🎯 TASKS **Accounting & Reporting:** - Take ownership of Veepee Italy’s General Ledger, keeping accounting accurate and aligned with local and Group standards. - Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reporting packages and support the preparation of Financial Statements. - Keep day-to-day accounting running smoothly, providing backup when needed to ensure business continuity. **International Collaboration:** - Be a key contact for cross-border accounting flows and international projects, connecting Italy with Group HQ. - Dive into financial data and intercompany reconciliations, turning numbers into clear and actionable insights. - Work with teams across Veepee to improve processes and make accounting activities more efficient. **Tax, Compliance & Audit:** - Own Italian VAT, LIPE and statutory filings, making sure everything is accurate and delivered on time. - Support audit cycles and Financial Statements, working closely with the Accounting Manager. - Help strengthen our accounting processes, identifying opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency and ways of working. ### 👉 MUST HAVE skills - Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or economics. - **minimum 3-5 years**of experience in a similar role. - Advanced knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets and SAP ( we are on S/4HANA). - Fluent English. - Ability to work proactively, strong team-working skills with ability to work independently. - Ability to adapt yourself to work in a fast-paced environment. ### 👉 NICE TO HAVE skills - Experience in financial audit (Big4 preferred). - French language skills. ### ✅ BENEFITS - 👉Opening hours & flexibility about holidays and permits⌚️ - 👉The dynamic and creative environment within international teams 🌍 - 👉The variety of self-education courses on our e-learning platform 👓 - 👉Team buildings & after works 💃 - 👉Tickets restaurant - 👉Hybrid working model→ up to 2 days at home 🏡🏢 - 👉Free afternoon on your birthday 🎁 ### ⚙️RECRUITMENT PROCESS - 1️⃣HR Interview with recruiter - 2️⃣General Accounting Manager Interview - 3️⃣Head of General Accounting Interview
