**Job Title:** Consultant Histopathologist **Grade:** Consultant **Location:** Southwest **Working Hours:** Full-time, 10 PAs (with flexibility for part-time applicants) **Salary:** £105,504 – £139,882 per annum **About the Role** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Consultant Histopathologist to join our dynamic team at a client based in one of the most beautiful regions of the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and forward-thinking environment, providing high-quality diagnostic services. **Requirements** - Full registration and licence to practise with the GMC and be on the Specialist Register in Histopathology (or be eligible within six months of interview) - UK-trained applicants must hold a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or be within six months of award by the date of interview - FRCPath (Part 1 and Part 2) **Typical Job Plan** - **Clinical Duties:** Reporting on a wide range of histopathology specimens, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, and providing expert advice to clinical colleagues - **Teaching and Training:** Involvement in the training and supervision of junior medical staff and participation in departmental teaching sessions - **Research and Development:** Encouragement to engage in research activities and contribute to the development of the department - **On-call Commitment:** Participation in the on-call rota as required **About the Department** The Histopathology Department is a well-established unit with a team of highly skilled consultants and support staff.
