Content Creator - French-speaking markets

Job description

Salonkee is one of Europe’s fastest-growing **beauty-tech companies**, helping thousands of salons simplify their daily operations and offer an outstanding experience to their clients. Our all-in-one software simplifies appointment scheduling, payments, and client management, allowing salons to focus on what truly matters: **delivering an exceptional customer experience.** We’re proud to shape the future of the beauty industry with innovation, collaboration, and a people-first mindset. **The opportunity** We’re looking for a **Content Creator** to own Salonkee’s short-form social media content across **French-speaking markets** (France, Luxembourg, Belgium & Switzerland). You’ll shape how our community sees Salonkee by turning B2B topics into memorable, engaging reels, stories and posts that salon owners actually stop for, watch to the end and share. From organic social content to paid campaigns and event activations, you’ll create videos that build engagement and generate leads. We’re not looking for cinematic production. We’re looking for someone who understands what makes short-form content work on Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn - and can turn a strong idea into an engaging video with a phone and a clear point of view. You’ll also occasionally be part of the content yourself, whether speaking to camera, collaborating with colleagues or filming on location with salon owners. **What you will be doing** - Own the social media content strategy and execution for French-speaking markets (France, Luxembourg, Belgium & Switzerland) - organic social, paid campaigns, and event activations - Handle the editorial calendar end-to-end: ideate concept, write the hook and script, organize the shoot, shoot (mostly phone-first), edit, caption and publish. - Transform complex B2B concepts and product features into memorable, unique & engaging posts/reels/stories that resonate with salon owners, and create video content that drives two outcomes: authentic engagement with our salon community AND lead generation for Salonkee. - Appear in our content when the concept calls for it: introducing a feature, interviewing a salon owner, doing a talking-head explainer or an event recap, sometimes solo, often alongside colleagues or clients. You're comfortable speaking to the camera in French, and just as comfortable directing others who aren't used to it. - Manage relationships with our influencer ambassadors in relation to social media content; coordinate content collaborations and ensure alignment with our overall content strategy **What you need to have** - 2–3 years creating social content for a brand, an agency, a creator business or your own account. - Fluency in French : you'll be speaking on camera and writing for a French-speaking audience, so it needs to sound natural, not just correct; and fluency in English: to collaborate with the team. - Proven experience creating organic & paid short-form content, backed by a portfolio, your own account, or videos you've made for a brand. - Comfortable with video editing tools such as CapCut, Edits or DaVinci Resolve, as well as AI tools to boost efficiency, quality and optimization of content. You don't need to be a post-production specialist; you need to cut a reel so it holds attention. - Comfortable in front of the camera. You won't be in every video, but when a concept needs you to speak to the lens, host a conversation or appear alongside a salon owner, that should feel natural, not stressful. - Exceptional ability to translate B2B/technical concepts into accessible, engaging video content. - Deep understanding of social media trends and platform algorithms across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. - Flexibility to travel occasionally (10%) for shoots and professional events **Application process** We would love to receive the following, and will only review applications that have fully submitted all required content: - Your CV - A 60-second elevator pitch video - tell us who you are! - Your portfolio of link to your social media account - show us reels, TikToks or LinkedIn videos you created, ideally with the numbers behind them. **What we offer** - A competitive remuneration package. - Full ownership and autonomy over French-speaking markets' video content strategy - your decisions and creative vision directly impact our business growth. You have real control and the opportunity to make a tangible difference if you invest in it. - A dynamic, international, and supportive work environment with a strong team culture. - Flat hierarchies that promote open communication and encourage putting your ideas forward - The opportunity to be part of a success story and make a tangible impact on the future of the beauty and wellness industry. - Regular company events to foster team bonding and create opportunities for networking and collaboration At Salonkee, we believe that innovation thrives in an environment where everyone feels included and empowered. We’re building a diverse team that reflects the industry we serve: creative, passionate, and full of different perspectives. No matter who you are or where you come from, you’ll find a place here to grow, contribute, and be your authentic self.
