What functions will you perform? ID Energy Group is a Spanish company founded in 2008. We are looking for a Controller to join our Finance Team at our centrally located office in Budapest . This position is ideal for a professional with a strong analytical mindset, a business-oriented approach and a proactive attitude. The role offers a broad range of responsibilities and challenging tasks across controlling, with extensive interaction within the local Finance Team, as well as with colleagues from other departments and our Spanish headquarters. Key responsibilities: Monthly financial controlling of the region (HU, IT, SRB) Supporting the monthly closing process Preparing management reports and financial analyses Reviewing P&L, accruals and other closing items Reconciling and controlling general and overhead costs Cost control of construction activities based on approved project budgets Monitoring project profitability Preparation of annual P&L budgets Intercompany & Transfer Pricing Supporting the Group audit process Active participation in external audits Collecting and preparing financial data and analyses for DDs Supporting M&A activities Preparing ad-hoc financial analyses. Providing financial support for management decision-making. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and reporting automation. Participation in the implementation of the NetSuite ERP system Your profile Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Controlling/Accounting/Finance/Economics At least 5 years of experience in similar position (professional background in the energy sector is a plus) Experience of ERP implementation Experienced working across a wide range of teams and stakeholders to align plans and deliver business outcomes Previous experience in audit is considered an advantage Language capabilities: Hungarian & English in business fluent required (Spanish/Italian language knowledge is a bonus point) Up-to-date knowledge of Hungarian tax and financial legislation Effective problem solving skills Why us?
