Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled
ICT Engineer
as an independent contract worker to support the design and coordination of cutting-edge data center projects across the U.S. In this role you will support the
design and documentation of control systems
for mission-critical projects, including large-scale data centers. This role is focused on developing high-quality design deliverables in close coordination with controls engineers and multidisciplinary teams. There is
a strong emphasis on Revit-based design
, as well as supporting broader low-voltage systems, including fire alarm, where applicable. This position is well-suited for someone with a solid technical foundation who can contribute to production work and help scale project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
:
Develop and produce control system design drawings and documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
Support the design of building automation and control systems for HVAC and related systems under the guidance of senior engineers.
Assist with layout, schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel designs for control systems.
Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and other disciplines to ensure integrated and consistent design delivery.
Contribute to low-voltage system design efforts, including controls, fire alarm, and related systems as needed.
Update and maintain project documentation, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project standards.
Support design reviews by incorporating feedback and making necessary revisions.
Assist with preparation of submittals, as-built drawings, and commissioning documentation.
Follow internal QA/QC processes and applicable industry standards and codes.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field is preferred (or equivalent practical experience).
3−6+ years of experience in controls design, building systems, or low-voltage systems.
Proficiency in Revit is strongly preferred; experience with AutoCAD required.
Basic understanding of BAS/BMS systems, DDC controls, and integration with HVAC systems.
Exposure to fire alarm and/or other low-voltage systems (security, communications) is a plus.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and coordination skills.
Able to work effectively in a team environment and support multiple projects simultaneously.
Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to multi-task and prioritize while meeting project deadlines
Self-starters that are ambitious and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
