*This is a Work Experience (work-based learning) position available through Workforce Solutions Coastal Bend. All candidates will be considered after program eligibility is determined. Job Title: Cook Position: FT/PT, 8am-7pm, Monday-Friday Location: Corpus Christi Second Chance Employer: No Pay Rate $9.00-$10.00 an hour Age: 18+ Must have a H/S or GED certificate Recruiter: O. Luna About the Cook position We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our company. You will be required to prepare all the necessary ingredients and equipment for cooking. Also you are expected to cook various kinds of meals to meet customer satisfaction. Cook responsibilities are: Setting up workstation with the necessary equipment Prepping minor ingredients to use for cooking Utilizing different equipment (cooker, grill, etc.) Monitoring stock/inventory Preparing exquisite dishes Ensuring that the working environment is properly sanitized Ensuring meals are prepared properly Cook requirements Familiar with cooking utensils Familiar with the different kinds of cooking procedures Good communication skills Excellent team player
