The Coordinator of New Student and Community Relations supports the college’s recruitment and outreach efforts by engaging prospective students, families, schools, and community partners through on- and off-campus activities. Working under the direction of the Director of New Student Relations, this position executes recruitment initiatives, represents the college at outreach events, maintains recruitment records, and contributes frontline insights to support enrollment goals. Essential Duties: Plan, coordinate, and execute recruitment events in alignment with established strategies, timelines, and priorities set by the Director of New Student Relations Maintain ongoing, event-based, and school-level relationships with assigned high schools and community partners to support recruitment activities Represent NWACC at high school visits, college fairs, job expos, and other outreach events Provide admissions information and guide prospective students through the enrollment process Use social media, email, and text messaging to communicate with prospective students Work collaboratively with other college departments to support recruitment efforts Ensure timely, accurate, and consistent entry of prospective student interactions and event outcomes in the college’s CRM and Student Information System Assist with hiring, training, and supervising Student Ambassadors Organize and lead campus visits and tours Maintain a presence at NWACC’s Bentonville and Springdale locations Travel locally using a personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed); most travel occurs during the workday, with occasional early mornings, nights, and weekends Additional duties may be assigned as necessary to support the goals and objectives of the department and college Rate of Pay: $19.76 per hour*Higher compensation may be considered based on qualifications directly related to position Completed applications received by 8/5/2026 will be assured full consideration. Late Applications will be reviewed as necessary to fill the position Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required Two years of experience in program administration, student services, or a related field Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to build relationships and engage with diverse groups Experience planning and executing events Comfortable using social media and technology for outreach Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical Demands/Work Environment: The following physical activities described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
