Our mission is to make Polkadot the most active and innovative community in blockchain, powering a new era of connected and decentralised applications. ## **About the Team** This role sits in our **Acceleration department**, home to the people who drive ecosystem growth by building tools, integrations, and partnerships across the Polkadot network. ## **About the Role** We are looking for new engineers to join the Platform function. In these positions, you will: - Design and implement the shared infrastructure and services that the Polkadot platform is built on - Build the SDKs and APIs that developers use to create and deploy applications on the platform - Work on the user agents that run these applications on web, desktop and mobile - Help keep the platform secure, reliable, and able to scale to a large number of users ## **Key Skills** - Work autonomously and solve problems independently - Care about the developers who use your work, and build interfaces that are stable and easy to use - Collaborate with others in an open-source culture - Take ownership of your work and be responsible for outcomes - Have good communication skills and can present work in "plain English" in blog posts or conferences
