Title: CPT-11463 Communications & Digital Marketing Virtual Assistant
Independent Contractor – CPT-11463 Communications & Digital Marketing Virtual Assistant/Marketing VA/Junior-Advanced Level (Remote).
Overview
20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.
A Massachusetts-based environmental justice nonprofit is seeking a part-time Marketing VA to support its day-to-day communications and digital content efforts.
The immediate priority is maintaining the organization's social media, graphic design, content calendar, and content-development workflow following the departure of its communications staff.
The organization has eight focus areas and a large internal team, so the VA will regularly gather updates from staff and turn that information into clear external-facing content.
The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.
Scope of Services
Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:
Social Media & Content
Maintain the organization's content calendar
Create and schedule social media content
Design graphics and visual assets
Meet regularly with internal teams to gather updates, events, and stories
Turn internal information into clear external-facing content
Help prioritize which activities and initiatives should be promoted
Maintain consistent social media activity
Communications Support
Draft and edit social media copy and supporting communications
Support the organization's biweekly newsletter as capacity allows
Assist with Giving Tuesday and year-end fundraising communications
Organize communications projects and deadlines
Maintain consistency across multiple program areas
Multimedia & Project Support
Perform basic video editing
Assist with voiceovers or social video preparation
Organize communications assets
Use
to track projects, deadlines, and deliverables
Help improve existing project-management workflows where appropriate
Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.
Skills
The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:
Previous digital marketing, communications, or social media experience required
Graphic design experience required
Content calendar and social media management experience required
Strong written English required
Strong project-management skills
Newsletter/copywriting experience preferred
Basic video-editing experience preferred
Spanish/English bilingual ability is a plus but not required
Nonprofit or community-based organization experience is a plus

Highly organized with strong project-management ability
Comfortable collaborating with multiple internal teams
Strong attention to detail

Capable of independently maintaining recurring communications workflows

Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA’s schedule with the Client’s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.
Terms of Engagement
Contractors will operate under a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work
This is not an offer of employment; contractors are not employees of 20four7VA or any client
All compensation is processed through 20four7VA according to the terms of the engagement
