CPU Validation Engineers

Job Title: CPU Validation Engineers Location: Austin, TX, Folsom, CA, Santa Clara, CA, Hillsboro, OR, Columbia, SC Duration: Contract Job Description: Job Responsibilities Include: · Write verification test plans, and associated tests to execute those plans. · Debug failing tests, then work with designers and architects to resolve bugs. o Successful Validation Engineers can anticipate failure modes, and write punishing test content to stress the design and identify bugs. · Analyze coverage gaps and devise strategies to fill coverage holes. · Behavioral traits for this position include: o Strong problem solving skills o Tolerance of ambiguity o Pro-actively drive debug issues to closure o Good interpersonal skills Qualifications Must have a Bachelor Degree or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. · Minimum of 15 years’ experience in Post-Si Validation · Minimum of 15 years’ experience with computer architecture and micro-architecture Preferred Qualifications: · Experience with Syntetic Test environments · Experience with Linux operating system · Experience with HW emulation · Experience with software design and coding · Familiarity with x86 assembly language · Familiarity with standard CPU interface protocols (ex: DDR, PCIe, etc.) Austin, TX, Folsom, CA, Santa Clara, CA, Hillsboro, OR, Columbia, SC Ajith KRG Technologies, Inc., ajith(at) 25000 Avenue Stanford, Suite #243, Valencia, CA 91355 Direct : 661-367-8000 Ext : 310
