- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, technical data, military specifications, engineering drawings, and quality management system requirements
- Serve as an independent verification authority to ensure all maintenance and repair activities meet airworthiness, mission readiness, and customer quality standards
- Review shop Travelers for accuracy and completeness
- Experience in working with aerospace specifications and drawings
- Conduct In-Process, and Final inspections
- Conduct First Article Inspections using AS9102 Forms and documentation
- Conduct Receiving inspection/verification of product and relating certifications
- Review certification documents and records required to create a Certificate of Conformance
- Create end item data packets such as Certificates of Conformance, Indented Parts List and Configuration summary for internal and external inspections
- Complete customer Source Inspections for detail parts and assemblies
- Interface with program engineering and customers on Material Review Board issues
- Verify and control non-conforming product and the Material Review Board (MRB) process
- Use CMM, Faro Arms and other inspection tools and methods to inspect tooling, first article and production parts
- Provide Quality/Inspection verification support to Manufacturing and Engineering personnel
- Verify and control tool calibration cycles and the supporting documentation
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education/Training (both required and desired):
- High School diploma required
- Associate’s Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline preferred
Experience:
- 3+ years of professional experience in the required task area required
- Highly skilled in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance
- Experienced using Number/Bubble Drawings to create Inspection Reports
