We believe every child deserves the opportunity to explore their interests and reach their full potential. ### About the Role We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Creative Writing Educator to lead an engaging after-school program and help students develop their writing, storytelling, and creative expression skills. **Schedule:** Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM–4:30 PM **Estimated Start Date:** September 14, 2026 **Estimated End Date:** December 3, 2026 **Hourly Pay Rate:** $50 ### In this role, you will: - Lead an engaging after-school Creative Writing program for students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade - Ensure student safety and well-being at all times - Foster creativity, confidence, self-expression, and communication skills through writing activities - Plan and lead engaging creative writing lessons, storytelling exercises, and skill-building activities - Adapt instruction to different ages, writing levels, learning styles, and interests - Encourage students to explore their imagination, develop their own ideas, and express themselves through writing - Facilitate positive social interactions, collaboration, and peer feedback - Effectively manage student behavior using positive reinforcement and an encouraging approach - Maintain accurate attendance and incident records - Prepare and organize writing materials and activities, keeping the classroom space clean, organized, and safe ## Requirements - 18+ years of age - Ability and willingness to complete 3 hours of online training prior to the start date.
