You will obtain, record, and communicate important clinical information, and provide clinical services within a multidisciplinary team environment. ***Department Specific Information:*** This is an inpatient position with our Behavioral Health Solutions Center and is a 24/7/365 first responder drop-off location for individuals in the community experiencing a behavioral health crisis. **Compensation & Benefits:** - **Psychiatric Nurse I (LPN)** - $30.12 - $31.62/hour - **Psychiatric Nurse II (RN)** - $40.56-$48.56/hour - ***Awake Overnight Differential:** $3/hr* - *Language Differential - $2.50/hr for bilingual proficiency in Spanish & ASL* - For complete overview of our **robust** Benefits: *The posted range represents the full hiring range. Offers will not exceed this range, the majority of candidates are placed near the midpoint based on experience and qualifications.* **Job Duties & Functions:** - Provide psychological problem identification, crisis interventions, and similar services to assigned patients. - Provide limited case management services to people we serve as needed. - Assist consumers with psychological and social development and rehabilitation. - Coordinate consumer’s use of other WellPower programs and outside community resources. - Coordinate medical care and intervention with other clinical staff and psychiatrist(s). - Draw blood for lab work for patients. - Monitor consumer’s vital signs. - Periodically provide community injections - Administer medications including intramuscular medications. - Maintain accurate and timely clinical records consistent with WellPower standards. - Participate in team/organization meetings, in-services, and supervisory sessions as required. - Maintain a trauma informed environment of wellbeing. - Perform other duties as assigned. **Requirements & Qualifications:** **LPN** - Graduation from accredited school of nursing. Licensed as a Practical Nurse in good standing with the Board of Nursing of the State of Colorado. **RN** - Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado. License must be in good standing. - Minimum two years nursing experience; experience in a behavioral health or outpatient clinic - preferred - Experience with the severe and persistently mentally ill or similar populations strongly preferred. **BSN** - Bachelor of Science in Nursing **Experience** - 1-3 years of experience working with consumers with a serious and persistent mental illness preferred --- **Work Location:** BHSC Crisis Center 2929 W 10th Ave. Denver, CO 80204. **Shift/Hours:** Flexible schedule based on self scheduling, **Physical Requirements:** Standing, walking, stooping, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, repetitive hand/finger motions, manual dexterity. Requires fine motor skills required for precise clinical procedures. Requires visual and auditory acuity to observe patient behavior and respond to alarms and calls. Requires a capacity to handle emotionally charged situations and maintain professional boundaries.
