A day in the life: As a Cryptanalytic Computer Scientist (all levels), you will support a large mission focused team in the pursuit of solving network and cybersecurity focused problems. Requisite computer science skills (mathematical models, methods, and/or techniques) are applied to each problem to provide state-of-the-art techniques, tools, and approaches. What you bring to the table: Level 1 A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university Atleast two (2) years of relevant experience Level 2 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university and 5 years of relevant experience Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university and 3+ years of relevant experience Doctorate in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university and 2+ years of relevant experience Level 3 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university and 8+ years of relevant experience Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university and 6+ years of relevant experience Doctorate in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university and 4+ years of relevant experience Level 4 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university in Computer Science and 11+ years of relevant experience Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university and 9+ years of relevant experience Doctorate in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university and 7+ years of relevant experience Experience designing/developing/using/evaluating mathematical models, methods, and/or techniques (e.g. algorithm or development) to study issues and solve problems Engineering (electrical or computer) experience and/or high performance computing experience All levels must have an active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph The total package: Our total compensation package was strategically designed with our members in mind with the intention to: r eward our members for their hard work and commitment to our customers' missions; allow members to share in Red Alpha's success as we continue to grow and expand our footprint; provide long-term career opportunities through stability and internal mobility; and provide the resources our members need to support themselves and their dependents in the form of a robust benefits package. Our approach in determining final salaries takes into consideration a number of factors such as education, certifications, total years of relevant professional experience, actual level of expertise, and the responsibilities of the role itself. Based on the outlined roles, responsibilities, and requirements, the projected pay range for these positions are: Level 1: $95,000 - $155,000 Level 2: $115,000 - $175,000 Level 3: $165,000 - $215,000 Level 4: $180,000 - $230,000 Some of our additional perks and benefits include: Retire sooner than planned: Get closer to retirement with up to 10% in 401k contributions, immediately vested.
