Curriculum and Learning Manager (12 month limited-term)

Job description

**ABOUT BEZOS ACADEMY** At Bezos Academy, we believe all children deserve the great start that excellent early education provides, including in under-resourced communities. Our mission is to nurture the potential in every child to become a creative leader, original thinker, and lifelong learner by inventing the solutions needed to scale early childhood education. We are a unique organization that realizes our mission in two ways. First, we operate a multi-state network of schools in under-resourced communities, offering quality Montessori-inspired preschool at no cost to families. Second, we create tools, products, technology, and other solutions designed to reach young children and their caregivers well beyond the walls of our schools. We aspire to have a profound, large-scale impact on children ages zero to five. **ABOUT THE ROLE** As the Curriculum and Learning Manager for a new direct-to-consumer initiative at Bezos Academy, you will help develop meaningful learning experiences for parents to use with their young children (ages birth to three) and the systems that measure their impact. In collaboration with your teammates, you will translate early childhood developmental science into high-quality, accessible, and culturally responsive curriculum content, while developing measurement approaches that generate actionable insights and improve outcomes for children and families. You will bring expertise in early childhood development, curriculum design, and the use of research and data to inform product and program decisions. You are a hands-on, data-savvy early childhood expert who thrives in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. You exercise strong judgment, confidently lead complex projects and cross-functional workstreams, and are comfortable building from scratch, navigating ambiguity, and iterating toward better outcomes. Motivated by impact and continuous improvement, you will help shape strategies, strengthen our curriculum, and deepen our understanding of what helps families engage in developmentally rich, joyful learning experiences with their children. **LOCATION** - Seattle, WA - This role is expected to work in-person with other product team members in our office in the Eastlake neighborhood of Seattle at least two days a week. **COMPENSATION & BENEFITS** - This is a temporary, full-time position anticipated through December 17, 2027.
