Customer Service Representative – Hungarian & Slovak Speaking Location: Biatorbágy, Hungary | Hybrid after onboarding WHO ARE WE At Aliaxis, we design innovative, reliable, and sustainable solutions for fluid and energy management. Operating in more than 40 countries, our solutions help deliver water and energy where they're needed most. Our Customer Service team plays an important role in making that happen. We connect our customers with our internal teams and make sure orders move smoothly from initial request through delivery, invoicing and after-sales support. See our websites: ABOUT THE ROLE Do you speak Hungarian and Slovak, enjoy working directly with customers, and have experience managing orders and solving the unexpected along the way? We're looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Biatorbágy. This is much more than answering calls or emails. You'll take end-to-end responsibility for customer orders, primarily supporting our Slovak export customers, while working closely with Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, Logistics and Finance. You'll make sure orders are accurate, deliveries stay on track, customers remain informed, and any issues or complaints are followed through to resolution. These responsibilities reflect the scope of the attached job description. You'll primarily take care of our Slovak customers, while also providing backup support for Czech or other export customers when needed. If you like taking ownership, building customer relationships, coordinating several moving pieces at once and finding solutions when things don't go according to plan, this could be a great next step for you. WHAT YOU WILL DO Take end-to-end responsibility for customer orders, primarily for our Slovak export customers. Process, validate and manage incoming sales orders, ensuring that order details, pricing and commercial terms are accurate. Coordinate orders from placement through to final delivery and invoicing. Act as a key point of contact for customers, communicating with them regularly by phone and email. Keep customers informed about orders, deliveries, changes and the resolution of any issues. Work closely with Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, Logistics and Finance, maintaining good alignment between everyone involved in the process. Monitor order and delivery progress, identify potential bottlenecks and proactively look for solutions. Handle customer claims and complaints, investigate issues and coordinate solutions with the relevant teams. Escalate more complex cases when necessary and proactively ask for support rather than allowing an issue to remain unresolved. Maintain accurate customer, order and transaction information in our systems and ensure documentation is complete and up to date. Identify recurring issues and contribute ideas that can improve our processes and the overall customer experience. Support Czech or other export customers as a backup when required. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR For this position, we're looking for someone who has: Fluent/proficient Hungarian. Slovak at a minimum conversational/working level, both written and spoken. You don't need a formal language certificate, but you do need to feel comfortable communicating with Slovak-speaking customers by both phone and email. At least a secondary school-leaving certificate / high school diploma. A few years of solid, hands-on customer service experience, ideally involving direct customer contact and responsibility for more complex customer service or order management processes. Experience working with ERP systems and good general computer/MS Office skills. Strong communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to stay organized when priorities change. A customer-focused mindset combined with the confidence to take ownership of issues and see them through to resolution. The ability to build effective relationships with customers as well as colleagues from different functions. It would be an advantage if you also have: English skills that allow you to communicate with colleagues or provide backup support for other export customers. A college or university degree, particularly in Slovak language, supply chain, logistics or another relevant area. Experience in B2B, wholesale, distribution, manufacturing, logistics or similarly complex environment. Technical affinity and an interest in understanding products and systems, which is also highlighted in the role profile. A genuine interest in Aliaxis, our products or the markets we operate in. YOUR WAY OF WORKING You'll probably enjoy this role if you're someone who: takes responsibility rather than waiting for someone else to solve a problem; communicates clearly and confidently with different types of customers; stay calm and constructive when priorities or circumstances change; pays attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger customer journey; knows when to work independently and when to involve colleagues; enjoys working as part of a broader team rather than in isolation; looks for ways to make processes work better. Customer focus, effective communication, problem solving, adaptability, patience and the ability to develop strong product and system knowledge are core competencies identified for this position. WORKING MODEL & LOCATION The role is based at our Biatorbágy site. We want you to have the right foundation before working more independently, so during your onboarding and training period you'll work five days per week from the office. The length of this period will depend on your individual training progress. Once onboarding is successfully completed, you'll normally be able to work two days per week from home, with the remaining three days at our Biatorbágy office. For commuting, there is a bus stop within walking distance of the site as well as free, secured employee parking. The position is primarily office-based, and occasional travel related to the supported markets or customer visits may take place. WHY JOIN US? A role where you can own the whole customer journey, rather than handling only one small part of the process. Daily contact with international customers and colleagues across different functions. An opportunity to build strong knowledge of customer service, order management, logistics, supply chain and B2B operations. A collaborative environment where you'll work closely with Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, Logistics and Finance. Hybrid working once your onboarding and training are successfully completed. Free, secured parking at our Biatorbágy location. The opportunity to contribute ideas and help improve how we serve our customers.
