The Sizewell C Jobs Service supports local people into exciting, long-term careers across our Project.#SZCJobs Cyber Operations Manager Sizewell C Location: Based in London on a hybrid basis with travel to Suffolk as required. Contract: Permanent, full-time. Salary: £82,000 per annum, dependant on experience, plus benefits. Benefits include: Annual Leave: 28 days per annum, increasing to 30 days after 5 years of service, plus bank holidays. Bonus: 5% annual bonus. Pension Contributions: Defined Contribution Pension Scheme with up to 7.5% employee contribution 15% employer contribution. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Cyber Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day cyber security operations within a highly regulated and safety-critical environment. You will be responsible for managing security monitoring, threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response coordination, and operational cyber resilience activities across the organisation. Working closely with Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Digital, Operational Technology, and third-party providers, you will ensure that cyber security controls and services operate effectively to protect critical systems and data. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a nationally significant infrastructure programme where operational resilience and cyber defence are essential. About You Proven experience managing cyber security operations or security operations teams within large, complex organisations Experience managing third-party cyber security providers and operational service delivery Knowledge of cyber security frameworks such as NIST, ISO27001, CIS, or IEC 62443 Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills Ability to manage competing priorities within high-pressure operational environments Strong understanding of: Security Operations Centre (SOC) processes and technologies SIEM, endpoint detection, and security monitoring platforms Threat detection, threat intelligence, and incident response Vulnerability management and cyber hygiene practices Network, infrastructure, cloud, and endpoint security Cyber security operational governance and risk management Why Join Us?
