Possess a minimum of 15 years of experience advising security professionals on emerging cyber threats Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience working within the DoD Intelligence Community Working knowledge of classified and unclassified systems and Government/Industry standards/requirements. Experience advising non-IT professionals on Department of Defense network standards to facilitate the effective deployment of insider threat tools. Strong coordination skills to work with a wide range of organizations and promote uncommon technical solutions to facilitate mission requirements. Understanding of DOD/IC computer systems, protections, and threats. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Knowledge of both offensive and defensive cyber capabilities. Knowledge of user activity monitoring (UAM) software and processes. Expertise in at least one of the following functional areas: Risk/Vulnerability/Threat Assessments; Cloud Security; Security Operations; Firewall (FW)/Intrusion Prevention System (IPS)/Intrusion Detection System (IDS) Configuration; Penetration Testing; Forensics; Threat Intelligence; and/or, Threat Hunting Demonstrated knowledge of state, local and federal cyber trends, developments, standards, frameworks, and regulations in the area of cybersecurity and impact to operations.
