Data Analyst (Contract)

Job description

## **About ROLLER** ROLLER isn’t your average SaaS company. We operate globally across 30+ countries, powering millions of real-world experiences in the leisure and attractions industry. What we build doesn’t just live on a screen. It shows up in busy venues, peak weekends, and unforgettable moments for guests. Our mission is simple but ambitious: help operators run better businesses while creating great guest experiences. That means solving complex, real-world problems across ticketing, point of sale, self-service, memberships, kiosks, and digital waivers, all at meaningful scale. Just as importantly, it’s the people. We’re a team of 300+ smart, grounded, and genuinely passionate humans working across the globe. We care about quality, ownership, and doing work we’re proud of, without taking ourselves too seriously. We’re growing fast, aiming high, and building something that matters. If you want to work on real problems, with real customers, alongside people who care deeply about their craft and impact, ROLLER is a great place to do it. ## ## **Why You’ll Enjoy This Role!** - 🚀 **Hit the ground running on high-visibility work** - From day one, your analysis feeds directly into customer QBRs, live sales deals, and pricing decisions. No slow ramp, no work that sits in a drawer. - 🤝 **Partner with Sales and Customer Success** - You’ll be the go-to analyst for CSMs and Sales, turning customer and checkout data into stories that help win deals and grow accounts. - 🌍 **Real data from real venues** - Dig into how thousands of attractions operators around the world sell tickets, memberships, and add-ons, and what actually moves the needle for them. - ✨ **Flexible, fully remote contract** - Work from anywhere in Australia on standard business hours, with a clear scope and a team that’s ready for you. ## **Why You Want To Work With Us!** - 🩷 **Loved by Customers -** ROLLER is consistently highly rated on Capterra and G2, and trusted by leading operators worldwide. That doesn’t happen by accident. Customer obsession isn’t a value on a wall here, it’s embedded in how we prioritise, build, and measure success. - 🏆 **A Great Place People Choose to Stay -** We’ve been Great Place to Work certified across multiple regions for several years running. That reflects a culture that values trust, autonomy, and growth, and an environment where high standards and psychological safety coexist. ROLLER ranks in the top 5% of sales organisations to work for on RepVue! - 💸 **Competitive Package & Real Career Growth -** We offer competitive compensation and benefits aligned to the level of ownership we expect. As ROLLER scales, so do the opportunities. People grow here by taking on bigger problems, broader scope, and greater responsibility. Progression is driven by impact and capability, not tenure, and strong performance is recognised and rewarded. ## **Why This Role Matters** Our Customer Success and Sales teams run on data. Every QBR, every pilot, and every pricing conversation is stronger when it’s backed by clear insight into how our customers are actually performing. We’re bringing on a Data Analyst on a contract basis to own our go-to-market analytics for the next few months. You’ll be the analytical partner for our CSMs and Sales team, turning checkout, membership, and product data into insight that helps customers grow and helps us win deals. Your work also frees up our wider data team to stay focused on product analytics, so the impact goes well beyond your own requests. ## **What You’ll Do** **Customer Success Support** - Build the data behind CSM-led QBRs, including customer performance, checkout conversion, membership, and product-type trends - Field ad hoc customer-performance requests and turn them around quickly with clear, decision-ready answers **Sales Support** - Partner with Sales on deals and pilots, delivering before-and-after analysis that shows the impact of ROLLER for prospective customers - Analyse online checkout performance to surface opportunities and strengthen the business case **Pricing & Packaging Insight** - Analyse pricing and packaging across subscriptions, add-ons, and excess usage to inform commercial decisions - Share findings and progress through the team’s regular channels and weekly syncs ## **About You** - You have a high appetite for Technology and AI and a natural curiosity for how it can transform your work. You’re comfortable using AI tools to automate repetitive 'busy work,' freeing you up to focus on high-impact work. - You’re a Data Analyst with a track record of turning business questions into clear, actionable insight - You’re highly proficient in SQL and BigQuery, and creating dashboards using BI Tools (Looker, Power BI or Tableau) - You have previous experience of setting up tracking and reporting in Google Analytics - You understand SaaS revenue, especially pricing, packaging, subscriptions, and add-ons - You’re comfortable partnering with commercial teams like Sales and Customer Success, and can explain your findings to non-technical audiences - You can hit the ground running, managing competing requests and delivering quickly with minimal ramp-up We believe AI is a career-defining inflection point. ROLLER is a fast adopter of new technology like AI, and every team member is empowered to own their learning and use the latest tools to supercharge their impact. We’re looking for candidates with the proficiency and curiosity to embrace AI and technology — not just as a technical skill, but as a core competency to help us achieve big goals. ## **Contract Details** - **Length:** 3-month contract - **Location:** Fully remote, Melbourne or Sydney ## **Perks!** - 🚀 You get to work on a category-leading product that customers love in a fun, high-growth industry - check our Capterra and G2 reviews. - 💡 Work with a driven, fun, and switched-on team that likes to raise the bar in all we do.
