Data Automation Engineer

Our partner is looking for a Data Automation Engineer based in India.** We are looking for a technically skilled and analytical Data Automation Engineer to build, manage, and optimize end-to-end data automation systems. In this role, you will connect business and marketing platforms, streamline data flows, and transform raw information into reliable insights that support strategic decision-making. You will design automated workflows, manage ETL processes, and integrate databases and third-party tools to create scalable data solutions. Working independently, you will take ownership of technical challenges and translate business needs into practical, efficient automations. You will also leverage AI-powered development tools to improve workflows and accelerate problem-solving. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys combining data analysis, automation engineering, and client-facing communication in a dynamic digital environment. ### Accountabilities - Understand business objectives and operational challenges, then independently design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automation solutions. - Analyze data from connected platforms to generate actionable insights and support informed business decisions. - Build, manage, and optimize automated workflows using tools such as Zapier, , or similar automation platforms. - Configure and maintain connectors and integrations between different business applications, marketing platforms, and data sources. - Own the end-to-end Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) process, including extracting data, cleaning and standardizing information, and loading it into centralized databases. - Use AI-powered tools, including Claude Code, to support development, troubleshoot issues, and improve data automation workflows. - Maintain and enhance data infrastructure as data volumes, integration requirements, and business needs evolve. - Identify inefficiencies, resolve integration issues, and continuously improve data accuracy, reliability, and workflow performance. - Explain automation logic, technical decisions, and problem-solving approaches clearly to non-technical clients and stakeholders. - Ensure automated systems are well organized, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives. ## Requirements - At least 2 years of hands-on experience with automation platforms such as Zapier, , or comparable tools. - Proven experience building and maintaining integrations between multiple applications using connectors, APIs, or native integration capabilities. - Good working knowledge of ETL processes, including data extraction, cleaning, transformation, standardization, and loading. - Demonstrated practical experience using Claude Code to support automation or development tasks. - Working knowledge of databases and data platforms such as Supabase, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, or Snowflake. - Basic understanding of marketing data and performance metrics, such as Google Ads and Meta Ads data. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to understand business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions. - Ability to work independently, manage automation projects end-to-end, and take ownership of troubleshooting and implementation. - Clear communication skills, including the ability to explain technical workflows and data processes to non-technical clients. - Attention to detail and a commitment to data quality, system reliability, and continuous improvement. - Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and use AI-assisted tools to improve productivity. ## Benefits - Remote work flexibility: Work remotely from India. - Competitive compensation: Listed salary range of ₹5–7 lakh per year. - Full-time employment: A full-time role offering opportunities to take ownership of end-to-end automation projects. - Hands-on technical experience: Work with automation platforms, database technologies, data integrations, and AI-assisted development tools. - Business impact: Build solutions that improve data accessibility, operational efficiency, and decision-making. - Professional development: Expand your expertise in data engineering, ETL workflows, marketing analytics, and scalable automation systems. - Independent ownership: Take responsibility for solving business problems and delivering practical technical solutions. - Client collaboration: Develop experience communicating technical concepts and presenting solutions to non-technical stakeholders. - Additional benefits: Healthcare coverage, paid leave, bonuses, and other specific perks were not detailed in the provided job description.
